The Story of the Ultimate HoofPick
In 2003, Christy was cleaning out Caneel’s hooves with an old wire hoof pick in Colorado’s clay-packed dirt—painful on the hands and miserable to use. She tried a store-bought pick, but it bent before she finished the second hoof.
Surely there had to be a better tool… so she asked farriers. One after another told her they forged their own picks because commercial ones didn’t hold up. That’s when Christy set out to create a hoof pick that was truly durable, comfortable, and effective.
